During the summer most people rest and sleep their life away. That’s not the case for the Liberty Magnet Volleyball players. They spent their summer conditioning and preparing for the school season. Here’s from one of our players, Kaitlyn Jones!

J: How was summer conditioning?

K: Summer condition for me was somewhat rough, because of the fact that 1 I did not play club volleyball so I wasn’t as in shape as I normally would be, but it was kind of easy for me to get back in shape because our summer workouts were similar to conditioning freshman year so it helped me a lot mentally.

J: What were some things the team did during summer conditioning?

K:  We did a lot of sand at sand volleyball courts as well as weight room conditioning which we still do now.

J: How was your first game?

K: My first game gave me mixed conflicted emotions feeling that I did have something to show for summer conditioning but it also showed that I have a lot more space to work and progress in.

J: And lastly, are you excited for the rest of the season?

K: I’m very excited for the rest of this season to continue working on my craft, getting stronger and making my team, my family, and myself proud!

That’s all the questions we had for Kaitlyn today! Can’t want to see her on the court this year!
