REVIEW - Wicked For Good Falls Short: A Sequel That Couldn't Recapture the Magic

The Wicked For Good movie will never top the original first Wicked movie. Some of the songs were good and the plot twist at the end was entirely predictable. I mean I don’t think they would let the “bad guys” win in the end in a movie like this. Compared to the first Wicked movie, the songs were way better. I think a lot of what happened in the Wicked For Good movie made sense.
Since everyone knows that Wicked is an alternate perspective of the Wizard of Oz, a lot of the storyline lined up with eachother from each perspective. What confused me though was the cowardly lion and the man made of metal were directly created from the witch and wanted their revenge. And also the scarecrow man ended up being inlove with the witch. That part specifically did not line up for me. Honestly in the end if it came up to a choice between Wicked and Wicked For Good, then I would pick Wicked a thousand times out of ten. The second movie was great, but in my opinion it will never top the first.
