REVIEW - Instant Pot Vortex 5.7QT Air Fryer

In today's product review, I will be reviewing the Instant Pot Vortex 5.7QT air fryer. This air fryer is very convenient and easy to use. This review will cover key aspects such as performance, ease of use, design, and overall value to help readers determine if this air fryer is a worthwhile addition to their kitchen. I will also be reviewing how easy the product is to clean.

Performance:
How well does the air fryer cook different types of food (e.g., fries, chicken, vegetables)?
This week I used the air fryer to cook some french fries. I set the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and for 13 minutes. I let the fries cook about halfway, then I shook them around and allowed them to cook the rest of the time. After the full 13 minutes was up, I took the fires out and let them cook for about 5 minutes. The fries cooked through very nicely and were crispy, but not burnt! Another day of the week I cooked some chicken nuggets, but instead of 13 minutes, I put them in there for 15 and instead of 350 degrees, I put them in there for 345 degrees. It was the same results, still very good.

Does the food come out evenly cooked and crispy?
Yes! After allowing the foods to cook for the whole amount of time, the food cooks evenly and crispy.

How consistent are the cooking results with different temperature settings?
The cooking results are very constant with different temperature settings.

Is the cooking time faster or slower compared to a traditional oven?
The cooking time is much faster than using a traditional oven. If I would’ve used the oven to cook either the fries or the nuggets, they would have been in there for an extra 7 minutes. It also takes the oven a few minutes longer to preheat than the air fryer.

Does the air fryer maintain a steady temperature throughout cooking?
No, I didn’t have any problems with the temperature changing while the food was in the airfryer cooking.

Ease of Use:
How simple is the setup and first use?
The setup is very easy, all you have to do is take the air fryer out the box and plug it up. Using it for the first time is very easy as well. The buttons and settings are easy to adjust, though it might be a little confusing the first 3 times of use.

Are the control buttons and settings easy to navigate?
Yes, the buttons and settings are easy to navigate. The airfryer doesn’t have many buttons, but everything is labeled on the airfryer.

How easy is it to adjust time and temperature manually?
It’s very easy to adjust time and temperature manually. It’s both the same button and you either move it left or right to increase or decrease temperature or time.

Are the instructions or manual clear and helpful?
The instructions were very easy to follow, but you might not need it.

Design:
Is the air fryer’s size and shape convenient for your kitchen space?
The air fryer is sort of big, but it also fits in many places. It may be hard to hide, but it still looks nice in the kitchen with the right decorations.

How durable does the build quality feel?
The build quality feels really durable and looks like it can last a very long time.
Does the exterior stay cool during operation?
The exterior does get hot on the bottom and kind of warm on the side, so don’t touch it while cooking, or immediately after a meal finishes.
