Now in crumble cookie form… Dubai Chocolate!

Now in crumble cookie form… Dubai Chocolate! The new hottest trend can now be found at any Crumbl store along with seven other flavors. For a couple of months now, Dubai chocolate has been all the rage. From Dubai chocolate matcha to Labubus, people have been turning Dubai chocolate into everything they can think of. To some, it is the most delicious cookie to debut on the website. To others, it is just an overrated micro trend.

In my opinion, I agree that the Dubai chocolate cookie is certainly overrated and not worth the hype. The Dubai brownie comes in a square shaped pan and involves all the Dubai chocolate characteristics: chocolate, pistachio, and pan-fried kataifi. In real life, the brownie is quite appetizing. Unfortunately, It does not taste as good as it looks. I will admit, the brownie is soft and crunchy at the same time and the kataifi bits add a nice crunch to it, but that's about it. The brownie is so sweet, an overwhelming type of sweetness actually. I like sweet things but this is not it. The pistachio and chocolate overpower each other, making it unbearable. Along with the taste, it is too dense and thick. The thickness of the brownie makes it too hard to eat. It is just not enjoyable. For the price of 8 dollars, it is not worth it. For what it is, a brownie with toppings, 8 dollars is very overpriced. I rather make brownies myself. Compared to other food trends in the past, Dubai chocolate is one of the food trends that I hope will not last.
